Sumith Fernando

Sumith Fernando is from Passara division of the Badulla district. Sumith entered the University of Jayewardenepura in 2006 to follow an Accountancy degree. While studying in university, he also registered for the Chartered examination in order to be qualified for international employment.
After graduating from university, he interned in an audit firm. With that experience he found employment in a company as an Audit Officer. Once he completes his Chartered Accountancy examination he would like to migrate to Australia for further studies in Management Accountancy.
Update: He has met Mr. Hein Kolk several times and has emphasized that without the support from the scholarship fund, he would not have been able to achieve his educational successes that he enjoys today.
