H. M. Priyadharshani is from Galtemmandiya in the Monaragala District. Her father died when she was young. Her mother is a farmer whose meager income is insufficient to look after Priyadarshini and her 3 younger siblings. Her brother is a Plan sponsored child.
She did her examinations in 2010 and received ‘A’ grades in all her subjects.
Priyadarshini is studying Political Science at the University of Jayewardenepura in Colombo. She hopes to be a lecturer in a university. She is very proud of being selected for the Hein Kolk Scholarship Programme.
Update September 2017:
Complete her Social Science study , she is waiting now for a government job.
Update 2016: Sanjeewa Disanayake, he is studying medicine at the Kelaniya University he achieved his medicine degree. He is now waiting to be admitted for the 2nd semester of the 4th year.
